== Synopsis ==
[[Lisa]] thinks the valentine's day stinks, everyone has a valentine execept her. But when she opens her locker, she finds a love letter to her. She decides to find out who it is. Lisa puts on her Junior C.S.I. Kit and the decides to taking help from [[Willie]], [[Lunchlady Doris|Doris]] and [[Nelson]]. Nelson examines the message, and believe the card is the recent victim of an indian rug burn. Lisa hearing with [[Kearney]] and [[Jimbo]] and they teoll that they have made it kn [[Milhouse]] today. Milhouse tell to Lisa and Nelson that he had not write the card for Lisa has turned he down since pre-school and he wants save himself. Lisa then contacts Doris if she had something, and she has, the man that written the card has eaten the jambalya and she gives a list to Lisa on those students who ate it. Lisa discovers that only one of the studens matches Nelson's results, and it's [[Martin]]. Martin tell however, that has not left the school gym since he came to school for they not let he pass the forth grade until he passes the presidental fitness test. Martin tell to Lisa he did not eat lunch today either because he dropped the tray. Lisa then goes to Willie with has the fingerprint from the card, which fits on only one person, [[Ralph]]. Ralph tell that the card is not from him, he was just told to put it in Lisa's locker. Lisa becomes angry, she has not yet figured out who's the valentine. Bart came then and acknowledge that it's from him, he admits that he is not in love with her but did what as all big brothers are guilty to. He explaining his bad handwriting because Nelson had given him an indian rug burn in the morning, the smell from the food came after Martin dropped his lunch tray. Bart apologizes to Lisa, which tell that it was nice but she has now realized that she did not have a valentine. Bart tell that it could be worse and [[Otto Mann]] and the students start to laughing at that Bart are Lisa's lover. Lisa tells Bart that she wants to forget this day.

He finds eight matches, but also works out that the person who wrote the card was likely suffering from an Indian rug burn. Lisa goes to [[Kearney]] and [[Dolph]] to find who they had given the burns to that day, and they reveal that [[Milhouse]] was on the receiving end of one. Lisa and Nelson confront Milhouse, who says that he decided not to send Lisa a card this year to save himself from the grief of his feelings not being reciprocated.

Lunchlady Doris keeps a list of what causes children pick and only one of the students on the list matched the handwriting sample results; [[Martin Prince]]. He also reveals that he did have jambalaya sauce with his meatloaf, but he tripped and dropped his food so never actually got to eat it.

Bart then admits that he left Lisa the card because he felt bad for her not receiving one. Bart explains that Nelson gave him an Indian burn on the [[school bus]], he got the jambalaya sauce stains because Martin's food went everywhere in the cafeteria when he tripped, and then he had Ralph drop the card off in Lisa's locker. VSI: Valentine Scene Investigators is a The Simpsons Winter Wingding comic story first printed in The Simpsons Winter Wingding #2.

Synopsis[edit]

When Lisa receives a mysterious Valentine's Day card, she puts together a team to figure out who gave it to her.

Plot[edit]

It is Valentine's Day at Springfield Elementary School, and everybody receives Valentine's except for Lisa. Bart reassures her, saying that there's still a few hours left and she'll probably get something by the end of the day. When Lisa goes to her locker, she finds that she has a card after all. She opens the card and sees that it's not signed with a name, so she pulls out her Junior C.S.I. Kit to figure out who sent the card. Lisa puts together a team consisting of Nelson Muntz, Groundskeeper Willie, and Lunchlady Doris to figure out who her secret admirer is.
