The Golden Globes ceremony is an awards ceremony that Bart, Homer, Lisa and Marge attended as Angry Dad: The Movie was nominated for best short animated film.

After Sideshow Bob wins an Emmy, a prison guard takes the award from him. He says awards for excellence in entertainment are contraband. No Emmys, no Oscars, not even a Golden Globe.[1]
After arriving in Springfield as a judge for the Springfield Film Festival, film critic Jay Sherman had dinner with the Simpson family. During the meal, Sherman boasted about his career achievements, revealing that he had won two Pulitzer Prizes, five Golden Globe Awards, an Emmy Award, and a People's Choice Award, with several of the trophies hidden inside his clothing.
