The program followed Michael and his intelligent talking speedboat, Knightboat, as they pursued criminals along coastlines, canals, and waterways. The series was known for its exaggerated action scenes involving starfish poachers, high-speed chases, and convenient waterways that allowed the boat to pursue targets into land-adjacent areas.
