Character Information

Francine Rhenquist is a bully who moved to Springfield Elementary School.
History[edit]
After the school bus arrived at Springfield Elementary, Otto realized that he forgot the new kid and went back to pick her up. When Francine got on the bus, everyone whispered mean things about her, causing Lisa to feel bad for her. At the school playground, Lisa was talking with Bart, Milhouse, and Lewis when she decided to go see if Francine wanted a friend. However, when Lisa spoke to her, Francine punched her in the eye.
Lisa talked with Homer and Marge about Francine, and Marge told Lisa to try and bond with her over a shared interest, with them settling on seeing if Francine liked Malibu Stacy. At school, Lisa saw Francine holding a Malibu Stacy doll and talked to her about it, until she realized that it was her own doll that Francine had stolen from her locker. Francine then bit the head off the doll and spat it at Lisa before she shoved her in a locker next to the locker she had shoved Milhouse into.
At school, Lisa went to the other bullies to ask for protection against Francine. However, they refused, saying that they didn't deal with girl bullies. Lisa and Nelson discussed Francine and her motivation behind bullying, and Lisa questioned why Francine only went after smart kids. However, Nelson had no idea what the motivation could be. Wanting to get to the bottom of the mystery, Lisa asked Groundskeeper Willie for access to the security tapes. One of the tapes showed Francine finding Lisa under a cafeteria table, despite the fact she shouldn't have known Lisa was there. Lisa then watched a tape of the swimming pool where Francine was wearing a nose clip. In this tape, Francine didn't attack Lisa and even waved at her. Lisa realized that this meant it might be smell related. However, Francine had come into the security room with Lisa thinking she was actually Willie returning. Francine then attacked Lisa once more.
Lisa had Database, Martin, and Milhouse, all of whom were victims of Francine, run on treadmills in the school gymnasium so she could gather their sweat from them. Dubbing this chemical "Poindextrose," Lisa decided to present her findings at the 12th Annual Big Science Thing. The scientists were initially dismissive of Lisa because she was a little girl, but Lisa brought out Francine, who had been put into a cage by her parents for the presentation. Lisa used a swab to apply Poindextrose to her and let Francine catch her scent. The bully immediately became aggressive and tried to get to Lisa. Lisa then had Professor Frink open the cage and the bully charged at her, only for Lisa to spray salad dressing over herself, stopping Francine in her tracks. Lisa explained to the confused scientists that the pungent vinegar and tangy Roquefort blocked Francine's smell receptors, rendering her harmless.
After Lisa's presentation, Francine smelled the Poindextrose on the other scientists and started attacking them. However, Lisa ran out of salad dressing so she couldn't stop her. Francine's mother said that she would tire herself out punching people, and her father said that she would sleep well that night.[1]
Francine ran betting when Lisa sat at a jinxed desk, with her betting Lisa would fail the pop quiz.[2]
When the Princess Ponypalooza, Francine was glad that Lisa wouldn't be entering as it meant more of a chance for her to win.[3]
Lisa identified Francine as representing "The Jack Booted Thug" among The 20 Types of People You Meet in Elementary School.[4]
