Book Schnook is a comic story first printed in Bart Simpson's Joke Book.

Synopsis[edit]

When Ned catches Homer swearing, he tells Homer to read the Good Book.

Plot[edit]

Homer starts swearing while mowing the lawn, which Ned overhears. Ned tells Homer that he has to read the Good Book because it can offer him guidance and inspiration in times of anger and frustration. Homer agrees with him and tells Ned that he will go and read it right now. Homer goes back into the house and reads an issue of TV View, which he thinks is the Good Book, on the couch.
