The [[Simpson family]] constantly fight and cause trouble, even at [[Mr. Burns]]' company picnic. This leads [[Homer]] to want to change his family and have a nicer family, like the one he sees at the picnic. Homer, now embarrassed by his family, leaves the picnic.
 
  
When at [[Moe's]], Homer sees an advert for [[Dr. Monroe's Family Therapy Center]] and decides to go there with his family. It costs $250 to go there, at which Homer pawns the TV to raise the money. The therapy treatment begins and they have to go to extreme electric shock measures to sort out the problems. This causes power surges all over [{Springfield]] sue to the amount of shocks everyone gives everyone. Dr. Monroe pulls the plug and pays the Simpsons $500 as he didn't sort out there problems. Everyone expresses their love towards Homer and he buys a brand new TV.

It guest stars Sab Shimono as Mr. Sparkle, the Japanese businessman, and the announcer, Gedde Watanabe as the factory foreman, factory worker, Japanese tourist, and reporter, and Frank Welker as the baboons.
