The Lovejoy family is Tim, who is the minister at Springfield's local Protestant church and has a home in Springfield with his wife Helen, self-described "gossipy wife of the minister," and their daughter Jessica who is a fourth grader at Springfield Elementary School. Reverend Lovejoy's elderly father was also a reoccurring client at la Maison Derrière, Springfield's local burlesque house. Helen also has a transgender cousin named Stanlerina.
