E.T. is a video game with E.T..

History[edit]

The game was seen in the Springfield City Dump.[1]

In the 80s, Bart played the Atari 2600 game in his treehouse, with Nelson, Milhouse and Martin, saying it can never be improved.[2]

Behind the Laughter[edit]

E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial is a real video game. The game being in the dump is a reference to the game being one of the main causes of the video game crash of 1983 and the Atari video game burial. Many of the games buried were copies of E.T.
