As the Simpsons looked at the meteor, it hatched, revealing the Space Marshmallow inside. Homer picked up the Space Marshmallow with a stick and decided to eat it. After a short struggle to get the Space Marshmallow to stay down, he finally succeeded. That night, while he was trying to sleep, Homer's stomach started making noises. He then got up and went into the kitchen where he ate all the food in the house. Hearing the noises, Bart went into the kitchen to find out what was going on, and Homer tried to eat Bart. A Derren Brown Christmas is a Christmas documentary starring Derren Brown.

Derren Brown went to Springfield to film A Derren Brown Christmas. He chose Springfield because there was no feeling of Christmas spirit in the town. So that he wouldn't reveal what he was really doing to the townspeople, he told Mayor Quimby and the people of Springfield that the town had won an award for being the "Christmasiest" Town in America, and he and Hark Media were there to film a documentary about it.
