Radioactive Man #1 is issue #1 of the Radioactive Man.

Plot[edit]

A simple man is driving along an empty road. He steps out of his car and begins to walk as heavy clouds gather overhead. While crossing a fence, his pants get caught on barbed wire. A sign nearby warns: "Nuclear Testing Zone – Keep Out."

Ignoring the danger, he ventures further until he sees a bomb. Suddenly, it explodes. The blast engulfs him, and he begins to change—his body glowing, his very being becoming radioactive. From that moment, he calls himself "Radioactive Man."

High above, something strange stirs in the sky, stars flickering in unusual patterns as if signaling his transformation. In later scenes, he finds himself trapped inside a massive metal contraption, struggling to break free.[1]
