Heaven is the home of God and his son Jesus Christ. It is a place where people go when they die if they have been good. Homer has visited on occasion.
History[edit]
Bart started to go up to Heaven before he spat over the escalator and got sent to Hell.[1]

There was a Celebrity Heaven where famous people went when they died. Jimmy Stewart, John Wayne, Prince, John Lennon, Abraham Lincoln, Neil Armstrong, George Clooney, George Washington, among others, were seen there, although many celebrities like Dean Martin appeared in regular heaven.[2]
The Simpson family visited Heaven after an unsuccessful visit to the Creator, who had destroyed the game engine. Lisa, using her Hand of Buddha powers, created a ladder to Heaven to talk to the highest authority, God. All the characters managed to get into Heaven, except Homer and Bart, who were locked out by Shakespeare. After defeating Shakespeare, they entered Heaven, where they found many enemies they had already defeated. After making their way across Heaven and once again defeating the enemies, they found Benjamin Franklin guarding the gate to God's apartment. After defeating him, they angered God by telling him to stop playing with their lives, so God made them play him in a giant game of Dance Dance Revolution. After defeating God, they discovered that "The Simpsons Game" was just a mini-game in God's favorite game "Planet Earth" and that God had dropped "The Simpsons Game" manual down to Earth, which Bart found.[3]
