Time Trippin' is a premium questline in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was introduced in the Homerpalooza content update. It requires Rockin' Otto to be obtained.

After tapping on Rockin' Otto's exclamation mark Principal Skinner, sir? I've decided to quit being a bus driver. I want to pursue my dream of being a rock legend Sorry to lose you, Otto. Not because you're in any way a good bus driver. Because everyone else refuses to sit in that bus with those kids. Task: "Make Rockin' Otto Practice Guitar". The job takes place at the School Bus and takes 60 minutes. Quest reward: 100 and 10

After tapping on Apu's exclamation mark Excuse me, but you have been standing outside my shop playing air guitar for quite a while now. It's the only kind of guitar I'm any good at. I want to be the world's greatest shredder but I suck. Maybe the Gods of Rock will help me, if I offer them a flaming sacrifice. No! Wait! Flaming sacrifices at the Kwik-E-Mart are for customers only! Task: "Make Rockin' Otto Set Fire to His Guitar". The job takes place at a Kwik-E-Mart and takes 8 hours. Task: "Make Apu Search for Working Fire Extinguisher". The job takes place at a Kwik-E-Mart and takes 4 hours. Oh, these fire extinguishers we sell at the Kwik-E-Mart are worthless! Yeah, I'm more of a bluesman. But I once filled in for Clarence Clemons. So, you're here to help me achieve my dream of being a great rocker? No, I'm one of those angels that come to Earth to convince you that your dreams are stupid. Task: "Make Rockin' Otto Get Advice From A Dead Sax Player". The job takes place at the School Bus and takes 4 hours. You see, Otto, even the Rock Gods can't make someone as untalented as you into a rock legend. But don't feel bad that you're not cut out to get baked and play guitar. It's just as important to get baked and drive a school bus. Quest reward: 100 and 10

We assumed that stuff about you wanting to become a rock star was just some bad trip. Good to have you back working with children! Huh. Maybe I hallucinated the whole thing.
