The Institute is an institute in Springfield to help social pariahs who have made mistakes that got shared on social media.

After Homer became a social pariah, Theo approached him and told him about The Institute. Theo then took Homer to meet other members of his new group, which included Helen Lovejoy, Jed Hawk, Larry Doogan, and Kirk Van Houten, who all had embarrassing moments shared on social media. Theo then had the group do community service jobs to try and raise their reputation.
