The History of The Simpsons Comics Site (TSCS)

The Simpsons Comics Site (TSCS) first went online in 2003, entirely written, created, and maintained by Michael Daaboul.

TSCS was born out of the lack of dedicated Simpsons comic sites at the time. While a few existed, they often lacked depth, making it difficult to find comprehensive information about the series. The goal of TSCS was to fill that gap by providing everything fans needed to know about Simpsons Comics, while also covering other Simpsons-related content.

With the release of version 3.5, the site shifted its focus exclusively to Simpsons Comics, removing non-comic-related content. However, updates slowed due to Michael’s other commitments.

Following the launch of the official Bongo Comics website, TSCS took a new direction. With version 4.0, it became the definitive hub for Simpsons Comics reviews, now featuring a few exciting surprises.

Now, 13 years in the making in 2025, version 5.0 is here—building upon the foundation of v4.0 but updated to today’s standards. I was quite young when I first created this site, but since then, I’ve earned a degree in Multimedia Systems and a Master’s in Creative Writing. Using the knowledge and experience I’ve gained in the industry, I’m bringing TSCS back to life.
