After [[Barney]] bought the [[Plow King]] snowplow and started a new business, Homer's went down, specially because of Barney's ad featuring [[Linda Ronstadt (character)|Linda Ronstadt]]. Homer made a new ad on TV, but it didn't work. He later decided to make a crank call to Barney, sending him to a non-existing job at [[Widow's Peak]]. The The Metal Krusty-O is a prize in Frosty Krusty O's.

During a normal breakfast, Bart was eating a box of Frosty Krusty O's. Unaware that inside there was a jagged metal Krusty-O, or as Krusty claimed, "a prize," Bart ate the piece and later got a stomach ache.

Later at school, he begged his teacher to let him go to the nurse. After a couple of dozen seconds or a small nail manicure, Mrs. Krabappel finally excused Bart.
