Bart and Lisa competed in the Lard Lad Kid of the Year. The winner would receive a year's supply of donuts and $1,000 in scholarship money. Lisa participated for the money but didn't like the idea of the contest being about writing why you love Lard Lad Donuts. Bart wanted the donuts but didn't like the idea of writing.
