The Festival of Books is a book festival in Springfield.

History[edit]

The Simpson family visited the Festival of Books on Lisa's birthday. At the festival, Bart spent some time at a section of "Books for Dummies," Marge talked with Rev. Lovejoy, Dr. Nick, and Stephen King. Professor Frink showed his Info Cram 6000. At the festival, there was also a panel discussion on "The Future of Reading." Krusty was there signing his book and it was where he met his daughter Sophie for the first time. Milhouse and Tom Wolfe were two others that were there, as was Christopher Walken, who read Goodnight Moon for the children.
