Synopsis
- "In this Disney+ exclusive double-episode, the residents of Springfield search for Christmas cheer.[12]"
A famous mentalist arrives in Springfield and uses his mind tricks to boost holiday spirits. When Homer gets hypnotized and believes he’s Santa Clause, it causes the rest of the town to question their own Christmas beliefs and the meaning of the word miracle.[13]
It's a double-sized Christmas themed, sweet, emotional, funny episode.[4][5]
In one scene, Derren Brown attempts to hypnotize Homer Simpson to boost his spirits, but this inevitably ends up with Homer thinking he's a certain "sparkly elf". Professor Frink has a big emotional scene.[14]
