Tom and Dick Smothers, better known as the Smothers Brothers are a comedy and musical duo. They are best known for their humorous arguments while trying to play folk songs as well as their controversial CBS television show The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour.
The brothers appear as themselves in a dream sequence in Oh Brother, Where Bart Thou? as well as during the credits of the episode where they perform their infamous "Boil Them Cabbage Down/Take It, Tom" routine (with help from Homer).
