TV Show Information
|
Jock Center is an American television program that features sports-related news and talk. It features the Jock Center anchor.
History
Jock Center did a profile of Homer Simpson when he became famous for teaching sports stars how to do victory dances.[1]
Homer later found the program when he was disappointed by the FOX drama Boobs, decided to change the TV channel, and ended up on the channel that was airing Jock Center. As Homer watched, the anchors announced that the NFL was expanding and a new city would receive a pro football team. Homer then took on the project of persuading the NFL to choose Springfield as the city to host the new team.[2]
Behind the Laughter
- The program's name is a parody of SportsCenter, which is broadcast on ESPN.
