The Momentum of Things is a film shown at the Aztec Theater starring Ellen Burstyn and Jim Broadbent. The film's plot is based around the plight of the British coal miners.

Plot[edit]

Jim's character tells his son that if he does not get more coal, he will end up in the "dynamite gang". The child cries at the prospect of this happening.

History[edit]

Otto Mann was in the line to buy tickets to the film Cosmic Wars, but went into the wrong line and brought a ticket to The Momentum of Things. When he was watching the film, he said that he didn't know British coal miners had it so bad, and that there was blood on Mrs. Thatcher's hands.
