Cultural references[edit]
- During the scene when the Flanders family shows up at the Simpsons' house Homer's vision becomes a heads up display, similar to that of the terminator from the film of the same name. Homer evaluates his options for dealing with Ned, which include "intercept", "destroy" and "eat".
