[[Abraham Simpson|Sergeant Simpson]] informed Homer and Bart about their mission: Germany planned to attack the French village Ville de St. Capitulons, which supplied snails to the French Army. Homer and Bart parachuted into the town, where they saw [[Üter]] throw a rock at a window, causing the French to surrender with white flags. Sergeant Simpson and Private Burns ordered them to remove the surrender flags scattered throughout the town. Private Burns suggested looting French paintings "for safekeeping".

After defeating Burns on the ''[[U.S.S Reel Crazy]]'', Homer, Bart, and Abe returned the stolen paintings to Ville de St. Capitulons, where the mayor, [[Ugolín]], thanked them for returning them and handed over one of the paintings, which had a keycard on the back.
