Hi, I'm Jesse. I've been a ''Simpsons'' fan since the [[wikipedia:Tracy Ullman|Tracy Ullman]] days. You can even find posts of mine in the backlogs of [[wikipedia:alt.tv.simpsons|alt.tv.simpsons]], if you dare to look at my teenage musings. Bonus credit: I posted a reply to a post that contained the phrase "worst episode ever!", long before it was invoked by [[Comic Book Guy|CBG]] on the actual show.

* Since 1990, I had attempted to video record every single ''Simpsons'' episode on VHS, but I gave up after the 42nd tape or so. By then, the series was being released on DVD, and many of the episodes can now be had on sharing and streaming sites, so I no longer feel compelled to keep up my own personal archive of inferior quality. Maybe someday, I'll get broadband and a 3TB drive and store them all digitally. The one thing that makes the VHS collection interesting now are all the vintage early-1990's commercials that were included. ([[Grift of the Magi|The ironing is delicious]]!)

* I could have sworn I saw [[Matt Groening]] one time attending the 2002 [[wikipedia:Alternative Press Expo|Alternative Press Expo]]. The guy looked just like him, and who else would have a bag with a custom [[Itchy & Scratchy]] design? ...[[D'oh]], I really should have said something.
