'''Trucker 2''' is the truck driver who spotted [[Homer]] as he was spilling the truckers' secret to a tour group.

== History ==
After Homer decided to drive Red Barclay's shipment to Atlanta, he and [[Bart]] were behind schedule, needing to drive 2200 miles in 10 hours. In order to get there on time, Homer took a bottle of [[Stimu-Crank|pep pills]] so he could drive all night. However, because he had also taken a bottle of sleeping pills to "balance it all out," he eventually fell asleep at the wheel. The truck then proceeded to drive itself, stopping Homer and Bart from driving through a guard rail and down a cliff.

As he awoke next morning at a [[The Gassy Knoll|truck stop]] he related his amazing tale to [[Trucker 2|two]] [[Trucker 3|truckers.]] Not surprised in the least, the truckers explained to Homer that the Navitron Autodrive systems installed in the trucks allow the vehicles to drive themselves. The two men then threaten Homer to keep quiet and not spill their secret.

Homer tells Bart about the Autodrive system and the two proceed to climb onto the hood of the truck while it's driving. A passing tour bus sees the two, and the passengers quickly notice noones driving. Homer tells them not to worry, though, because the truck drives itself. As he tells them to keep it between him and them, the people on the bus begin taking pictures. A truck driver then notices Homer's shenanigans and calls up his buddies to put a stop to it before Homer ruins their scam.

A convoy then appears and chases Homer down ramming him. Homer, however, fends them off eventually coming to a blockade of semis. Homer manages to get past them, though, and speeds off to Atlanta. As he disappears into the distance, [[Trucker 3|one of the truckers]] suggests that they stop using the Autodrive systems and go back to using their hands and wits. The others quickly decide against it, instead agreeing to smuggle {{W|Beanie Babies}} as their new scam.
