-[[Homer Simpson]] is very excited because tomorrow it's the free pizza day, much to Lenny and Carl's astonishment. However, the following day, Marge asks him to keep his bed, since he got the flu. While she and the kids go to the church, Homer stays home alone and tries to distract himself, only to be disappointed when all advertising are about pizzas.
+At the [[Springfield Nuclear Power Plant]], [[Homer]] finds out that it's free pizza day in three days' time. [[Mr. Burns]] questions [[Smithers]] why they do this, and Smithers says it's so the employees don't ask for higher wages and more benefits. Homer goes home for the weekend, excited for free pizza day. However, when [[Marge]] wakes up on Sunday morning, she finds that Homer is sick with the flu. Homer hopes that it's just a 24-hour bug so he doesn't miss free pizza day. While the family goes to church, Homer stays home to watch television. However, everything reminds him of free pizza day, and he runs off to the drug store. There, he finds [[Nyquam]] and drinks the whole bottle before passing out and dreaming.

While at the Kwik-E-Mart, Homer finds that [[Apu]] doesn't stock beer and that [[Duffman]] is the advertising mascot for fitness DVDs. Homer runs out of the store screaming about there not being any beer anywhere. He runs to fraternity row and asks the college students where the parties are, but they're confused because it's a weekday and finals week. He goes back to the Kwik-E-Mart and asks the bullies if they're waiting for an adult to buy them beer, but they tell Homer that they're waiting to help senior citizens carry their groceries to their cars. He then goes to the [[Springfield Stadium]] where he is served pineapple squash instead of beer.
-He goes at Moe's and discovers that it is now a coffee tavern. Moe himself does not know about beer, prompting Homer to visit various places such the Kwik E Markt where Duffman seems changed now.

Lisa sarcastically says that Homer could ask Mayor [[Barney Gumble]] to help him get to Egypt to search for the tomb, which he does. At first, Barney is confused about Homer's request but decides to go along with it anyway.
-He then asks Lisa to do some researches for him and learns that beer was banned after an accident which happened during the Egyptian Times. With the help of the mayor, he goes to Egyptia in order to save some beer which has been kept under control but fears when cockroaches begin to bite him.
+Homer and Barney land at [[Cairo]] and ask the locals about the Pyramid of Rumses IV. The [[monkey paw seller]] gives them the [[Placefinder 9000]], which leads them to the pyramid. While Homer and Barney ride camels there, Homer tells Barney about his world and what Barney did there, leaving out the part about Barney being a drunken mess. They get to the pyramid and break through the wall to the tomb, finding an ancient Egyptian bar. Homer opens a jar to give Barney his first taste of beer, but bugs come out of it and eat the flesh on his arm. As Homer screams, he wakes up from the dream.
