 As everyone tries to work out who the culprit is, Maggie points at [[Gerald]], who is playing with a [[Baby's First Skeleton]] set. Moe thinks that Maggie wants to play with Gerald, so he puts her down. However, Gerald tries to attack Maggie with a toy bone. As Moe goes back to accusing Ned, Maggie throws the bone at Moe, which trips him up next to the staircase. Moe deduces that Gil wasn't pushed; he tripped on the bone and fell down the stairs. However, what Moe doesn't realize is that Gerald actually knocked him down the stairs with the toy bone. Gil then comes up the stairs, revealing that he was just unconscious and lying on the will. As a reward for solving the mystery, Moe receives a thank you and a cup of sugar.

-[[Moe]] is babysitting [[Maggie]] and they go out to get sugar from a neighbor in the area. The neighbor they visit is also visited by [[Gil]], who will read a testament to a dead male's friends and relatives. Just before Gil should begin reading the will, the light goes out and when it turns on again Gil is dead, so Moe and Maggie decide to figure out who killed him. Maggie and Moe are the only ones not in the will, so they are impartial enough to solve the mystery. Baby Gerald threw a fake bone at Maggie so Maggie threw it at Moe, and he almost falls down the stairs, just like Gil. Moe then solves the mystery. The lights went out, and when Gil turned them on again, he tripped over the bone that Gerald threw, and tumbled down the stairs. Gil was alive at the end, and lying on top of the will. Maggie and Moe got some sugar, too.

Moe and Maggie arrive at the mansion of the late Jonathan Ritzfield III, whose will is being read by [[Gil Gunderson]]. As Gil is reading the will, the lights go out and loud noises occur. When the lights come on again, the attendees find Gil halfway down the stairs and the will missing. The only piece of evidence is a single bone.
