+[[Principal Skinner]] accuses [[Nelson]] of tying up [[Martin]]'s shoes and throwing them on the power lines. Nelson tells [[Lisa]] that he is innocent and she believes him. When [[Groundskeeper Willie]] retrieves the shoes, Lisa takes the knot in the laces and tells Skinner and the school kids that it is a Dutch Cringle knot, which only Martin knows how to make. Martin admits that he framed Nelson to avoid a wedgie and used a medieval catapult to throw the shoes onto the line. Skinner drags Martin (plus Nelson and [[Bart]]) away for punishment.
