As they drive, they pass several signs indicating how much further it is to the factory, and showing that they're getting closer and closer. They stop to pick up a hitchhiker, who turns out to be new character [[Poochie]] (voiced by [[Homer Simpson]]). He goes on a long rap to introduce himself and illustrate how "hip" and "extreme" he is and also how much attitude he has—as seen by his wearing sunglasses and riding a bicycle up the side of a {{w|Half-pipe|half-pipe}} to slam-dunk a basketball. Poochie finishes by telling children watching to always recycle to the extreme, and then takes off in Itchy's and Scratchy's car and drives past the fireworks factory.
