 Thad was taken to the [[Springfield General Hospital]], where he started to recover. Thad told Homer that he hated to let his fans down, but he died three times in the [[ambulance]]. In an attempt to get Thad to like food again, Homer took him to a spot in Springfield where all the smells from cooking in the town rose to. After Homer explained how this was possible, Thad smelled something he had never smelled before, and he and Homer went in search of the meal. The search took them to [[Fat Tony's compound]], where Fat Tony was cooking a pot of [[Gewalteintopf: The Stew of Violence]], a recipe that [[Wilhelm von Wonthelm]] had passed down to him as he died. After telling the story of the stew, Fat Tony told Homer and Thad to turn around while he added the final secret ingredient. Thad and Homer both tried the stew and loved it.
