He reports that the district features newly refurbished shops reminiscent of those in [[James Joyce]]'s ''Finnegan's Wake''. [[Marge]] is shopping at [[Sham Rocks]], despite [[Lisa]]'s reluctance to celebrate St. Patrick's Day by buying trinkets. However, Marge tells her that it could be worse, and [[Homer]] tells Marge and Lisa that they need to get to the Duff Green-Beer Gardens for the dirty limerick contest.<br /> <br /> As the St. Patrick's Day parade proceeds through town, [[Patty]] and [[Selma]] complain to [[Comic Book Guy]] that the &quot;Kiss Me, I'm Irish&quot; shirts he sold them do not work.
