Smithers decides to make Burns a spoon from the lightest yet strongest metal alloy available and steals [[Captain McCallister]]'s new titanium foot. Smithers then gets a nineteenth-century orphan to mold the spoon from the titanium. He then has a Swiss artist finish the spoon so that Burns' reflection would be more forgiving. Finally, Mr. Burns demands all his possessions to have historical importance, so Smithers has someone sign an international treaty with the spoon.
