+When Moe was younger, he and his family would star in commercials for Mattress King, which was owned by Morty Szyslak, the father of Moe. The commercials were what drew the customers to the store. However, the chain had a secret, Morty would release bed bugs in the stores of their competitors to drive the customers to Mattress King. When Moe was old enough, Morty told Moe to release bed bugs in another store. However, Moe didn't as it was also a family run business. The family who ran that store then released bed bugs in one of the Mattress King stores, losing customers. Moe was then kicked out and left the business. After this whole incident, only three stores were left open.
