Julian, [[Katya]], and {{ap|Lars|Desperately Seeking Lisa}} then took Lisa to see Lacey. In her house, Lacey told them about how she had seduced, and destroyed, {{Ch|Theodore Roosevelt|Theodore}}, {{Ch|Franklin D. Roosevelt||Franklin}} and [[Eleanor Roosevelt]]. Julian then stopped her and asked her if she could give a scholarship to Lisa. Lacey then put Lisa through the "extensive" interview process, which was one question asking how she was. She then gave Lisa the bursary, but wrote the check out to Julian.

Later that night, Julian, the singer for [[the Inhuman Capotes]], and {{Ch|Tracy Letts}} explained that they used Lisa in part of a yearly scam they did on Lacey Van Aster, where they would tell children like Lisa and [[Martin Prince]] that they could fit in at the Horace Frick Academy, get a bursary check from Lacey Van Aster, then cash it themselves and keep the money.
