After [[Homer]] and [[Lisa]] went to [[The Copy Jalopy]] to make copies of fliers exposing [[Jebediah Springfield]] as a fraud, they encountered the [[Comic Book Guy]], who was there making a copy of a screenplay he had written. He mistakenly thought Homer was trying to steal his idea. He asked Homer if he was [[Ridley Scott]] or James Cameron and warned him that, if a movie about computers threatening personal liberties ever appeared, he would know Homer had stolen his idea. Homer explained that he was only waiting for his child. However, afterward, Homer privately thought to himself: “Mental note: Steal his idea.”<ref>"[[Lisa the Iconoclast]]"</ref>
