After being arrested by his wife, [[Marge Simpson]], for obstructing a police officer, [[Homer]] returned home angry and refused to speak to her. Inspired by an episode of the television sitcom ''I Love Lucy'', he drew a line through the middle of the house and declared that each of them would remain on their own side.
