After making himself a fake ID and gaining a rental car [[Bart]], along with [[Milhouse]], [[Martin]] and [[Nelson]] go on a road trip to [[Knoxville]], [[Tennessee]] to visit the [[Knoxville World's Fair]]. As they were driving they found a hitchhiker and Bart decided to let him ride with them. The hitchhiker then asked Bart if they could go for ice cream, to which Bart also said yes.

The hitchiker's appearance and voice are based on that of the hitchhiker from the movie ''{{w|The Texas Chainsaw Massacre}}''.
