-The Simpsons' air conditioner has broke, and [[Homer]] is outside in the sun, being colder outside than in. Homer remembers that he has to watch the kids, and after being everywhere in the house looking for them, Homer finds them in the kitchen, sitting in the fridge and freezer. [[Marge]] arrives while Homer starts sobbing because his frozen lollies have melted.

He decides to go inside to make a nice cold-cut sandwich, a glass of milk, and some ice cream. As he goes toward the house, he remembers that [[Marge]] asked him to check on the kids while she's shopping. Homer checks [[Bart's treehouse]], the garage, and the roof for [[Bart]] and [[Lisa]], but can't find them anywhere. He gives up and goes inside the house to make his food. However, when he enters the kitchen, he finds Bart, Lisa, [[Milhouse]], and [[Janey]] all inside the fridge and freezer to keep cool. Homer begins crying because his cool, tasty treats are ruined as Marge gets home and says she can't wait to hear the story behind what happened.
