I can speak Spanish ''muy bien'' and I'd be interested in writing spanish articles. The thing is that well, how many articles we have? 8600. Good. Making 8600 articles is a bit... too much. Besides, Spanish Simpsons Wikia is very active and competing with them is gonna be hard. So the Italian wiki isn't active.
