== History ==<br />
The director went to see [[Comic Book Guy]] to negotiate making a film based on the ''{{ap|Everyman|comic}}'' comic. Comic Book Guy told him and his colleagues that he would only accept if he could choose who played [[Everyman]]. The director objected to this, but was cut off by Comic Book Guy. After [[Homer]] got hired to play Everyman, the director and his brother told Homer that they had shown his picture to a cross-section of typical movie-goers, and they hated him. He told Homer that several people who saw the picture chose to stare at the sun.<br />

After Homer put on weight again, the director realized that the film was going to be a disaster. When the test screening was taking place, he told the [[Ginormous Pictures producer|film producer]] that they had fixed the entire film in editing. After the test screening, the director told Comic Book Guy that the projectionist hung himself with the final reel.<br />
