Clerks was one of the film that was showing at film festival in [[Springfield]]. When a character in the film said "Thank you, come again" asked [[Manjula]] to [[Apu]] if has seeing that movie before and he answer her at he was the creative consultant and the director like him so much at he based a later filn on him and show him a poster of the film [[Chasing Apu]] and adding at the studio made a few changes in the final cut.
