== History ==
During [[Springfield]]'s television shutdown, [[Krusty the Clown]] used the facility to continue broadcasting through the [[Emergency Broadcast System]], making it the city's only remaining television station. From the shack, he improvised a live comedy program, believing he would have the entire television audience to himself. After discovering the unauthorized broadcast, [[Sideshow Bob]] flew to the station in an attempt to destroy it by crashing an aircraft into the building. Krusty escaped moments before the impact; the attack failed, and Sideshow Bob was subsequently captured, ending the crisis.
