They specialized in [[Dr. Marvin Monroe]]'s Hop, Skip and Fry, an obstacle course consisting of a giant electrified checkerboard that contestants had to cross while carrying static-charge balls to a basket. Throughout the event, they patrolled an electrified checkerboard and intercepted contestants attempting to reach the basket, grabbing and throwing them across the grid. Since the pattern of safe and electrified tiles changed throughout the competition, their throws often sent contestants onto live squares, making them one of the event's greatest hazards.
