When Bart was unable to obtain Krusty's autograph, he attempted to do an end run by cutting a check to Krusty for 25 cents. Bart figured if Krusty wanted to redeem the paltry check, he would need to endorse it, and thus the cancelled check would return to Bart with autograph. When Bart did get the cancelled check, it was stamped with the logo of the Cayman Islands Offshore Holding Corporation. An angry Bart told this to a bank teller, who said it is acceptable to endorse checks by stamp, but then noticed something suspicious about the endorsed name. This set off a chain reaction that ultimately got Krusty arrested for tax evasion, as it was revealed the Cayman Islands Offshore Holding Corporation was in actuality a shell corporation used to dodge taxes.
