As he demanded special treatment, gunshots from [[Springfield Mafia|mobsters]] pursuing Krusty struck the vehicle, leaving it riddled with bullet holes. The salesman, trying to close the deal despite the damage and chaos outside, insisted the holes were “speed holes” that would make the car go faster and continued trying to sell it to Homer at a bargain price.<br />
