-On the morning of January 1, [[Homer]] is asleep on the living room floor, when [[Bart]] and [[Lisa]] come into the room and switch on the TV for the 16 hour long ''[[Itchy & Scratchy Holiday Marathon]]''. They watch the first episode "[[Scar Wars]]", and the noise wakes up Homer. Homer tells Marge that he needs help, so Marge tells the kids to turn down the volume. Homer falls asleep and dreams that he is Scratchy and Bart is Itchy. In the dream, Scratchy is sunbathing when Itchy runs over him with his skateboard, shoots him with his slingshot, puts a bomb in his mouth, and eventually Scratchy falls off a cliff, burns his butt, is chased by a rocket into a mountain. Homer wakes up and Bart tells Homer that the marathon is over. However, [[Krusty]] announces on TV that the [[Itchy & Scratchy Channel]] will launch next week, much to Homer's despair.
