This was mutual and Homer started taking time to play with Baz. [[Santa's Little Helper]] began to get jealous of this relationship.
 After Flanders saw how much fun Baz had with Homer, he offered to give Baz to him. Homer wouldn't take her as Baz saw Homer as another dog. But Flanders would take care of her forever.
