The guide explained during a slideshow how [[Jebediah Springfield]] led a charge in the Battle of [[Ticonderoga]], but he is also credited with whacking a snake on the first "{{ap|Whacking Day|holiday}}" in 1775. [[Bart]] noticed a discrepancy and asked how Jebediah Springfield could be whacking a snake in [[Springfield]] on the first Whacking Day and also at the Battle of Ticonderoga as both would have been on the same day: May 10th, 1775.
