== Plot ==
[[Itchy]] hits [[Scratchy]] - relatively gently - on the head with a mallet. Itchy laughs each time as Scratchy says "Ow!" After several hits, they both look into the camera and say "Kids! Say no to drugs!"

== Reactions ==
The episode ended up being extremely unpopular. [[Bart]] and [[Lisa]] immediately loathed it, and even [[Krusty]] was ashamed at the poor writing of the episode.<ref>(''Itchy & Scratchy'' ends and Krusty is seen smoking a cigarette) Krusty: ehh... I could pull a better cartoon out of my a... (notices he's back on the air) heh-heh-hey!!! Hey! Woah! Did you like that, kids?!</ref> It is also implied that the reason why the script was so bad was because the writers of the cartoon were {{W|Harvard University|Harvard}} graduates.

This extremely tepid episode of ''I&S'' is the one that prompted Bart and Lisa to write their own episodes.
