== History ==
When [[Channel 6]] sponsored a contest to design a new Olympic mascot for the [[Springfield]] Olympic Games, Patty and Selma created and entered Ciggy. After they lost to [[Homer]]'s mascot, [[Springy]], Patty and Selma took off cigarettes from Ciggy and started to smoke them. Selma said that the glue used to hold Ciggy together really gave them a pop.
